Sweqlink is a platform for finding and offering work paid in equity rather than cash. UK-based and open to founders and talent worldwide. Founders at idea to seed stage post opportunities: a share of the business in exchange for skills and time. Experienced professionals browse those opportunities, filter by weekly hours and equity expectation, and create a profile to be matched with startup opportunities.

Equity is negotiable per opportunity. Listings range from 5% or less up to equal partnership, and many are open for discussion. Time commitments run from under 8 hours a week to more than 24. The working relationship may be structured as contractor, advisor or co-founder, defined in the agreement.

Sweqlink also publishes guides and FAQs on how sweat equity works, what to ask for, and where these arrangements go wrong.

Find startup opportunities paid in equity instead of cash. Browse by hours and equity share, or offer equity for the skills your venture needs.

Sweat equity is the investment of time, effort and skills into a business in exchange for a share in the business. It forms the foundation of innovation and progress for those willing to get their hands dirty, and have the audacity to transform ideas into reality.
Sweat equity allows those who contribute to share in the future success of the business. It also means you can develop your own skills, explore areas that really interest you and build out your own experience to support your own career ambitions.

What is sweat equity?

80% of entrepreneurs self-fund their startup ideas because they're unable to access external funding. Sweat equity can be a way to offset this financial requirement, giving ideas the best chance to develop into businesses during those very early stages.
We help connect people who want to work for equity in a business with founders who want to pay in equity. As the business scales, you get rewarded for your contributions.
